Supermarine is legendary for their floatplane racers. Some of the sexiest airplanes with big feet ever produced. Never seen that OV-10, though.

Not exactly sure what you’re asking. I know nothing about the history of this particular aircraft, but it’s not the only time it’s been done. Unless this is the same a/c.

Edo Aircraft out of NY state made floats for everything until just after WWII. BTW, that most likely is the XC-47C .
